The US Open in Dallas was not a perfect race (or anywhere in the vicinity), but...that's okay. It was fun to be in the same tent & on the same bus with the best of the best!
The most painful part of the day was running through a very long T1 on bumpy pavement (and the rest of the race didn't ge

Highs:
Matt, Cyrus, and I all had good races. It's always fun to race well!
One great thing about the race was the fact that it was a loop course. I love knowing what's going on in the race. Sometimes it feels like a 40K bike course can take you to the next state before you end up i

This past weekend, I qualified for the amateur race "The Best of the US" in Oklahoma's Route 66 Triathlon. It was a lot of fun to meet more Oklahomans and find a new, gorgeous lake! Usually, I end up at Lake Hefner for bike/run training, but open water swimming isn't allowed. Now I know that I have

It's worth noting that as Stephen & I were heading over to the race (about an hour before the women's start) the tornado sirens went off...Hurray for draft-legalness :o) Actually, not all the competitors were in a group, but most were.

About the Barkin' Du...I guess my comment is...Bow-WOW! (I couldn't resist.) Way to go, Riptide!
PATCO is this weekend in my backyard! Unfortunately, I can't make use of the home-court advantage...but Stephen & I are excited to cheer for Jocelyn & Pete! Maybe OKC will be the hostess with
