Beware of the dry winters

Well it had to happen sometime and today happens to be probably the worst day so far, the snow is falling and it is mid April. We had been very lucky up until this point with some pretty nice weather through the winter, plenty of days outside, not many days on the trainer or rollers from January until the beginning of April. Since the start of April the weather has definitely turned, it has been colder than March and much wetter as well, I am starting to wish that my training trip to Tucson for two weeks was going on now and not back at the end of February. Alas no one can predict the weather accurately for the season so I will just have to enjoy what ever I have taped and begin the sweat fest on my trainer. Below is the radar image of what we are dealing with in the Springs right now, the guys in Denver have gotten hammered a bit more with storms so maybe they are getting the lighter end of it this time.
