Borger takes 3rd at Dinoland

Ryan Borger made his debut on the pro level Saturday at the Dinoland Triathlon in Vernal, Utah. Borger exited the swim in 3rd place, but made up ground with an impressive bike split and moved into 2nd. A swift-footed B.J. Christenson of North Salt Lake, Utah passed Borger on the run leaving him in 3rd place.
Also competing at Dinoland were Riptide U-23 athletes Cailee Anderson and Chris Athey and junior athletes Matt Rameson, Thomas Hill, and James Hill. Anderson finished 1st overall in the female sprint race, with Athey taking top honors in the men’s Olympic distance field. Matt Rameson was 2nd in the sprint race and Thomas Hilly was 4th. James Hill finished 16th.
