Riptide is excited to announce our 2009 team bike and equipment sponsor: Specialized Bicycles. Specialized will be the official supplier of bikes, helmets, cycling shoes & apparel, tires, tubes, and all other misc. cycling equipment for the Riptide team. This is a relationship that took a long time to develop, but thanks to the dedication of our great shop sponsor, Bicycle Village and our team bike tech Ryan (Grom) Stedeford, was finally organized and locked-in this past week.

Our athletes are extremely excited about this news as many of them are long-time Specialized customers and fans of the brand. We are excited to be the first pro triathlon team to ever receive this level of sponsorship from Specialized and we expect that the incredible technology and design that go into each and every Specialized bike will be one more advantage in achieving great results in 2009.
