Taylor Fogg, Riptide’s teenage phenom, won the all-women’s SheRox Triathlon on Saturday. Fogg bested 311 women to take home top-honors in the sprint distance event. Several of the area’s top age-group women competed in the event held at the Aurora Reservoir outside of Denver, Colorado. Fogg, who is known for her blistering bike splits, has shown a steady improvement in her swim since last season. She had the fastest overall swim time, second fastest run, and fifth fastest bike split. Considering that she is just starting to dust the cobwebs off her bike after hanging it up for the school year, this is an excellent indicator of what is to come.
