Riptide Elite athlete Jordan Jones took 2nd place in a highly competitive field at the Runnin’ Of the Green 7k in Denver, CO. The race is the largest 7k in the United States with over 1545 finishers in 2010.
Jones led through the mile in 5:01 with two time Olympian Michael Aish a half step behind. Aish would go on for the win but Jones would finish in 2nd place at 5:09 pace per mile.
Jones will race alongside other Riptide Elite athletes next weekend in Mazatlan, Mexico at the ITU Mazatlan Continental Cup.
