Merrick Named to World Championship Duathlon Team

Josh Merrick will represent the United States at the 2010 World Duathlon Championships.  The event will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland on September 3rd of this year.  The race entails a 10k run, 40k bike, and a 5k run and features a €75,000 prize purse.  Merrick earned his spot on the National Team by way of his past duathlon successes, including wins at the Big Sky Duathlon and Barkin Dog Duathlon in 2009 and 2010, as well as 3rd place finishes at the Desert Classic Duathlon and Cabbage Head Duathlon.
