Riptide Multisports competed in the Fort Collins swim meet on the weekend of January 9-11, 2009. Some exceptional swims were posted.
Morgan McCormick swam best times in the 50 and 100 backstrokes qualifying her for Junior Olympics in both events. Morgan and Shannon O’Dell had several top 8 finishes in the 11-12yo girls division.
Perhaps the most surprising swim of the meet was 15yo Craig O’Dell finishing with a 2:04.57 in the 200 back and just missing his 200 back sectional time. Great job Craig!
Riptide has 2 swim meets coming up, with the ACES meet January 30 thru February 1st and then the following weekend at Evergreen.
