Background:
Began running while at Medford High School in Medford, MA. In sophomore year at Boston University, walked on to NCAA Div I Cross Country and Track teams. While at BU, went on to run 14:25 for 5,000m, won two individual conference championships, and was captain for two years of Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor Track & Field teams.
Post-collegiately, qualified to race triathlons at Elite level while working midnights as a police officer with the Denver Police Dept. in downtown Denver. Left DPD in 2007 and started ski shop, Powder7, an online based ski specialty store.
While racing for Riptide Multisports team, has gone on to top finishes including wins at Littlefoot and 5430 Sprint triathlons along with top five finishes at New York City Triathlon, Malibu Triathlon, and Westchester Triathlon.
